Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz is the former frontwoman of metalcore band The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa (born the 31st of July 1985) White-Gluz is an Canadian singer-songwriter, well known for being the former vocalist and lead singer of The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist and her current role as the lead singer in Swedish popular Death Metal group Arch Enemy. The way she sings is both clear and growling vocals (singing). The majority of her work is associated with metalcore and melodic death however she has performed together with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz used to be a part of the band Agonist which was formerly called "Tempest" and was based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada in 2004 until 2014. They released three albums together with The Agonist as the lead vocalist.White-Gluz quit the Agonist in the spring of 2014 when she was offered the position of vocalist with Arch Enemy.
